I like it! A nice balance between the parts that are primarily graphic designs and the more highly worked regions that give a sense of physical objects in space.

Amazing! :omg:

In my mind my dreams are real,
Are you concerned about the way I feel?
:iconartlmntl:
Not bad. I like the interplay between positive and negative space, but you are relying primarily on overlap for spatial recession. Your more recessed areas could be darker.

It's more challenging to do that with marks as you must patiently build up the surface, but you could also apply thin washes of watered down ink to achieve the same result in less time. It's that Attack of the Brush we were talking about a while ago. :)

Beautiful as always, I like how your drawings look so colourful even though they are in black and white :D
:iconitsuo:
Thank you
Its kind of funny. Every time I do one of these black and white pieces I want to color it, but never can bring myself to do it.

Thanks

I am finding that I really have to slow down and take a little more time in applying texturing marks. I seem to rush through things sometimes wanting to complete what I am working on. My latest one,I am trying to make a conscience effort to slow down and try to focus a little more on the application of my marks.
I haven't tried using the washes yet. Not really sure what to expect, although I am guessing it will take some experimentation on my part. I just have to make some time for myself to try it.
Thanks again. I always appreciate your support and suggestions!
All the Best! :D

I understand. Pen is a time-consuming way to render a drawing. The larger the drawing, the more time is required.

The washes can add depth and a more painterly feel to the work. Experimentation is the key.

It's my pleasure. Thanks and same to you :XD:

I may find myself in the mood to colour one of your pieces again some time. Right now I am busy with life and other stuff :D
